Built for the questions
nobody else answers.
nexorain.blog grew from a simple observation: most people in Thailand manage their money on instinct rather than understanding. We started to change that — one structured program at a time.
Back to HomeAbout nexorain.blog
nexorain.blog was established in Bangkok with one straightforward purpose: to give working adults in Thailand access to financial education that is clear, contextual, and free from any hidden sales agenda. The founding team had spent years in financial services and, between them, had noticed the same pattern repeatedly — people were making important decisions about their money without the foundational knowledge to do so confidently.
The name comes from the idea of a grove of ash trees: tall, steady, and offering shelter through their canopy. We wanted nexorain.blog to feel like that kind of resource — a place where people could sit with complicated topics and work through them without being rushed or sold something.
From the beginning, the approach has been deliberate. Programs are small. Content is written for Thailand specifically, not translated from material developed elsewhere. Every session is led by educators who understand the local banking environment, the Thai Revenue Department's requirements, and the realities of living and working in Bangkok or beyond.
Today, nexorain.blog runs three core education programs, each addressing a distinct need: navigating digital financial tools, understanding the impact of inflation on personal savings, and organising finances as a freelancer. The work is quiet and practical. We leave the bold promises to others.
To make financial literacy approachable for every adult in Thailand, through education that is honest, structured, and rooted in local context.
- Clarity over complexity
- Honesty without agenda
- Local, practical knowledge
- Respect for the learner's pace
- Small groups, real conversation

The Educators
Three specialists, each bringing a different slice of financial and educational experience to nexorain.blog's programs.
Somchai Charoenwong
Lead Educator
Somchai has spent over a decade working in personal finance advisory in Bangkok before moving into education. He leads the Digital Financial Tools and Inflation programs, focusing on translating abstract concepts into everyday language for Thai audiences.
Nattaya Prasert
Freelance Finance Specialist
Nattaya developed the Freelancer Financial Organisation program drawing on her own background as an independent consultant and her subsequent work supporting other freelancers across Bangkok and Chiang Mai with tax and income planning.
Wirat Lertchai
Curriculum & Research
Wirat manages curriculum development, research, and the practical worksheets and toolkits that accompany each program. His background spans adult education design and applied economics — both contribute to how nexorain.blog structures its material.
Our Standards
The commitments we hold ourselves to across every program and participant interaction.
Curriculum Integrity
Programs are reviewed and updated regularly to reflect current Thai financial conditions, regulations, and available tools.
No Conflicts of Interest
nexorain.blog holds no commercial relationships with financial product providers. Our recommendations are educational, not commission-based.
Participant Privacy
Personal and financial details shared in sessions remain confidential. Participant data is handled in accordance with Thai PDPA requirements.
Adaptive Delivery
Session structure adapts to the pace and questions of participants. There's no fixed script that overrides what a group actually needs to explore.
Thailand-Specific Content
All material is written for Thailand — Thai baht, local banking platforms, Thai Revenue Department rules, and Bangkok cost-of-living data.
Post-Program Support
Participants can reach out with follow-up questions after sessions conclude. Our team aims to respond within two business days.
Financial Education in Bangkok
nexorain.blog operates from Suan Luang, Bangkok, serving participants across the city and via online delivery for those outside the capital. Our work sits at the intersection of financial literacy and adult education — structured enough to build real understanding, flexible enough to accommodate the realities of working life in Thailand.
Thailand's personal finance landscape has changed significantly over the past decade. Digital banking has expanded rapidly, inflation has become a more prominent concern for savers, and the freelance workforce has grown substantially in urban centres. nexorain.blog's programs were developed in direct response to these shifts — not as general financial advice, but as education that equips people to navigate them with more awareness.
Each program is small by design. Smaller cohorts allow for more honest questions and more detailed answers. They also allow our educators to understand who is in the room and calibrate examples accordingly — because a graphic designer in Bangkok and a supplier representative in a suburb may both benefit from the same inflation program, but they'll bring very different questions to it.
